C-Section

It was a very difficult few hours and an even harder thing to accept that I would need to have the baby by C-Section rather than natural birth. I was scared and didn't know what to expect. We had given the Pitocin a chance to work but the progress wasn't there. With his heart rate dropping after just the initial contractions it was clear that we would be putting him at risk if we tried to push it any further. Ultimately it was best for Ethan and much less painful for me.

Baby's heart beat in green, Momma's contractions below.

Consulting with Dr. Maralle (Left) and our surf crazy nurse.

What are my options again?

Adam was a wonderful, calming support through it all and did everything to make it as easy as possible. Our families were great, overflowing with love, energy and support. Thank you guys, we love you.
